Privacy & Safety

Our simple promise to kids, parents & guardians.

1. Introduction

This site ("Quick Games" – placeholder name) is designed for kids and families to enjoy simple browser games. We keep things easy: we only use the minimal technology needed so everything feels friendly, safe, and fast.

2. What We Collect

  • No accounts. You cannot create an account here.
  • No personal details. We do not ask for names, emails, birthdays, or addresses.
  • No chat or messaging. There are no social features.
  • Only standard web logs. Our hosting tools automatically receive basic technical info (IP address, browser type, approximate region, error logs). These are used to keep the site running and secure, then expire automatically per host policies.

3. Local Storage & Device Data

Some games save small pieces of data in your browser using localStorage (for example: high scores, selected theme, sound preferences). This stays on your device only. You can clear it anytime by:

  1. Opening your browser settings.
  2. Finding site data / browsing data controls.
  3. Clearing data for this site or all sites.

4. Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics (placeholder configuration) to understand which games are popular and to improve performance. GA4 collects standard, pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location (city-level), device type, and events (like a game being opened). We do not send personal information to Google. IP addresses are processed by Google (with truncation/regionalization) to provide general location and for security.

You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, adjusting your browser's privacy settings, or using built-in tracking protection features.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Google Fonts. Provides fun & readable typefaces.
  • CDN Libraries. We may load scripts (e.g. Tailwind runtime) to style the site quickly.
  • Google Analytics. As described above.

These services receive standard technical requests from your browser so they can deliver the content.

6. Safety & Intended Use

  • Games avoid violent, scary, or mature themes (placeholder statement).
  • No user-to-user communication features.
  • We encourage parents/guardians to supervise young children online.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we modify this page, we will update the date below. Substantial changes (like adding new data collection) will be highlighted clearly.
